About us

About Us

Vatrukh Foundation is a climate-focused organisation working to strengthen resilience across Punjab’s communities and landscapes. Our work sits at the intersection of climate adaptation, sustainable agriculture, environmental systems, and social well being recognising that climate change shapes livelihoods, health, and access to resources.

We work closely with farmers, communities, institutions, and local partners to design practical, solution oriented responses to climate stress. Grounded in field experience, scientific understanding, and local knowledge, our approach prioritises long-term resilience over short term interventions.

Rather than one size fits all solutions, Vatrukh Foundation supports community led action listening to those most affected and working alongside them to build systems that can adapt, recover, and endure in a changing climate.

Our Work Focuses On:

Climate & Sustainable Agriculture — strengthening water security, soil health, and climate-adaptive farming systems

Environmental Systems — addressing air pollution, waste management, and the protection of air, water, and soil

Gender, Health & Climate Resilience — responding to climate-linked health risks and strengthening women-centred resilience

Climate Education & Knowledge Building — supporting climate literacy, research, and community learning ecosystems
